This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit vee.jitprime.com, contact us or order food from Vee’s Kitchen.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is the individual operating Vee’s Kitchen, a home-based food service in Kraków, Poland. Until a formal business entity is established, privacy enquiries and requests can be sent through our contact form.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

your name, email address and telephone number;
billing, pickup or delivery information, including your Kraków address and postcode;
the food ordered, portion, style, ingredients, preferences, preparation notes and requested time;
order number, price, payment method, payment status and payment reference;
messages submitted through the contact form; and
limited technical and security information such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and server logs.

Please provide only the preparation information we genuinely need. If you include an allergy or ingredient-avoidance request, we will use it only to prepare and manage your order. Avoid entering unrelated medical information.

3. Why we use your information

To accept and fulfil orders: including cooking, contacting you about the order, arranging pickup or delivery and handling payment. The legal basis is performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract.
To meet legal obligations: including accounting, tax, consumer-protection and food-safety records.
To respond to enquiries: based on your request and our legitimate interest in customer service.
To protect the website and prevent misuse: based on our legitimate interest in security, fraud prevention and reliable operation.

We do not currently use customer data for automated decision-making, profiling, advertising or email marketing.

4. Payments

Available methods may include BLIK transfer to phone, bank transfer and payment on pickup or delivery. We store the payment method, reference and confirmation needed to match the payment to an order. We do not collect card numbers through this website. Your bank or payment service processes the transfer under its own privacy terms.

5. Who may receive the data

Access is limited to the operator and authorised kitchen staff who need the information to prepare or manage an order. Necessary data may also be processed by our website hosting and security providers, WordPress/WooCommerce, email provider, bank or payment provider, and a delivery provider when delivery is requested. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.

We do not sell customer data.

6. How long we keep information

Order and payment records are retained for as long as needed to fulfil the order and meet accounting, tax, legal and complaint-handling obligations—normally up to five years after the relevant accounting period, unless a longer period is legally required.
Contact enquiries are normally retained for up to 12 months after the conversation ends, unless they relate to an order, complaint or legal claim.
Cart session information normally expires after the periods shown in the cookie section below.
Security logs and backups are retained only for the period reasonably required for security, recovery or investigation.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in data-protection law, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send a request through the contact form. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

8. Cookies used by this website

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The storefront currently uses essential first-party cookies needed for the cart, checkout, security and site operation:

Because the storefront currently uses only cookies needed to provide the cart, checkout and security functions, we do not display an optional-cookie consent banner. Blocking these cookies in your browser may prevent the cart or checkout from working.

If analytics, advertising or another optional technology is introduced later, it will be disabled until the required choice or consent has been obtained, and this policy will be updated.

10. Security

We use access controls, HTTPS and reasonable organisational and technical safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send passwords, full bank credentials or unrelated sensitive information through order notes or the contact form.

We may update this policy when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
